Ian West & Sarah Leddy

Do your students ever feel like they "just can't even right now?" Don't worry, we've all been there personally and professionally, and many of our students live in this space all the time. This state of constant anxiety and uncertainty can take a toll, create challenges with executive functioning, and lead us as teachers to say, "What is going on?" Mindfulness can help! The 6th grade at TRS is taking on an initiative to help our students through the power of mindfulness, and a few of us would love to share what we're doing. This 45 minute session will be very hands-on and focused on what we're doing at TRS, and how you might be able to use it in your classroom. If you've ever felt like you've run out of tools in the toolbox, come join us to share stories and explore solutions that will help all of us!"
